True mumbaikars

a bunch of people came together and made a print on T-shirt in reaction to the 7/11 serial Bomb-blast incident in the local trains of Mumbai (2006). It reads "We still holding on" with an iconical handle used in the local trains. Hats off! To the attitude of these mumbaikars.

Adidas Adicolor Outdoor Publicity

For it's new Adicolor series, Adidas put up blank billboards on the streets. After obviously getting sprayed with tonns of graffiti from passing youngsters, they put a new poster on top of the sprayed ones. But this one had a liniar drawing of the new shoe on it with several parts cutted out so you could see the grafitti effect on the shoe.

Bravia Advertisments......Whoaaaa

When you're introducing the next generation of television, you want to make an impact - but that doesn't mean you have to be predictable. To announce the arrival of the new BRAVIA LCD and SXRD range, we want to get across a simple message - that the colour you'll see on these screens will be 'like no other'. - THAT what the guys at Sony say about the new range of LCD, they have a website for thier colorful advertisments too. A must See, http://www.bravia-advert.com/

Safety first @ JW M Enigma

The best ideas are often the most simple. This fantastic ad to discourage drink driving is a case in point. Used by the Hotel Marriott in India for patrons of its popular nightclub Enigma, this ‘personal stamp ad’ listing the phone number of the local cab company proved to be so effective the idea is now being taken up by the Mumbai police and is being adopted by other clubs

Middle East's largest billboard ad

Weighing in at a whopping 400 meters long and standing 20 meters high at its highest point, the billboard is promoting one of the cities development projects named 'The Lagoons'. Using the more than 2,880 hours of man power, the billboard is positioned in a marketing traffic gold mine on the infamous Sheikh Zayed Road. With up to a quarter of a million motorists passing the billboard each day, it's fair to say the size will grab a few motorists attention along its 200 meter long stretch

New CarDOME

The 2 photos above were taken at Volkswagen's new storage facility in Wolfsburg, Germany. The actual space that the facility occupies is approximately only 20% of a comparable facility with the traditional design that is used primarily in the US. Not only is the German structure less expensive to build, but vehicles are also "retrieved" in less time and without the potential of being damaged by an attendant. Collecting your new car is an event in itself. "In a fully automated procedure, your new car is brought down to you from one of the 20-story Car Towers. Large signboards in the Customer Center show you when your turn has come. Then, you're handed the keys, your picture is taken, the glass doors open and your brand-new car appears.

Mission Impossible style Wine @ Aureole

Many restaurants are using all sorts of ‘gimmicks’ in an attempt to stand out from the crowd. One of the cleverest is Aureole, the restaurant in the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas and the SOS Hotel in London. Inspired by a scene in Mission Impossible, restaurant owners erected a four-story wall to house it’s 10,000 bottles wine collection. Once you order, an acrobat ('wine angel') scales the giant 42-foot-high wall 40 to 60 times a day to get your bottle.

Car specially designed for wheelchair users

Style has rarely been a priority in industrial design for the disabled - until now that is. Designed in Hungary, the Kenguru is a car specially designed for wheelchair users. The car’s interior space has no front seat – just a space built to house the driver’s own wheelchair so all he/she has to do is simply roll in through the extra large car doors and into position. The wheelchair locks into place, within easy reach of the car’s controls which are centred around a joystick. It’s light years away from the current options for disabled drivers, which involve having to hoist themselves into the driver’s seat of standard cars.

Couch Couplinggg

This sofa is embedded with patterned lights which react to seating arrangements. As a couple sit apart on the sofa, they are surprised when a cold blue pattern begins to grow around them signifying their distance apart from each other. With the pattern changing in relation to weight and proximity, as they move towards each other warm pink petals begin to form representing their closeness. Using light emitting (Electroluminescent) technology in conjunction with trigger sensitive materials, the pattern is displayed in relation to where a person is sitting. The petals will randomly illuminate around your body and disappear when you move to another spot, meaning an ever evolving and changing pattern display occurs. With the thoughtful and playful development of the pattern, the wonderment of where the pattern will lead adds to the experience of using the sofa. View Suspended' is a stunning art installation created from the thousands of parts that make up a Honda F1 Racing car. The amazing display was created especially for the event by Dutch artist Paul Veroude. Each of the 3200 parts of the Formula 1 car are suspended on fine wires to produce a 3D 'exploded diagram' that allows race fans the chance to get closer than ever to the engineering secrets of the world's most technically-advanced sport. Honda first recognised Veroude's talents two years ago, when Artwise Curators, who develop art projects with the Honda team, came across a museum exhibition of his deconstructed vehicles. Paul then got his first opportunity to get close up and personal with a Honda Racing F1 car during a visit to Silverstone. His passion for the sport and the Honda Racing F1 Team's engineering expertise catalyzed a very special work of art. Honda's Head of Car Marketing, Jeff Dodds says: "The first time we saw 'View Suspended', we knew it would be perfect for the London Motor Show. It's creative, imaginative and a must see for visitors to the Honda stand. I can't think of a better expression of Honda's passion for F1 and engineering."

The New Bentley Adv

Pictures may tell a thousand words but a simple finger tells just one! This cocky ad campaign for Bentley tells it like it is, and as the visuals tell the story, we wont labor the point. Well done Bentley!

The Excuse Box

The Excuse Box is a keychain that ends annoying phone conversations with tact. How many times have we all been in this situation:

"Hello?" "Hi hon, you missed Sara's ballet concert, where were you?" "Oh...late night at the factory." "But you don't work at the factory...you don't even have a job."

With the $13 Excuse Box, the conversation will go more like this:

"Hello?" "Hi hon, you missed Jimmy's baseball game, where were you?" "Oh...late night at the factory." "But you don't work at the factory...you don't even have a job." "Yeah, then why do you hear this?" (plays ambient mechanical noises). "Oh my God! You finally stopped wasting your life!" "Right! Wait...I don't know if it was wasting my life...I was writing my novel." "Yeah, and that was going great..." "Was that sarcasm in your voice?" "Nooooo. And we certainly didn't read it out loud at my last Mother's Club meeting, mocking the Taiwanese whore who becomes a princess." "She was never a whore! She was a princess all along! That's the freaking point!"
